Buddhatrip - Kalachakra 2011-2012

Greetings, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Yogis and Yoginis: You can now keep track of Lama Jigme's current trip to India.

From 21 December until 10 January, Lama Jigmé Namgyal will be in India together with 37 of his students for the buddhatrip. They will be traveling from Delhi to Sarnath and will arrive on 27 December at their final destination which is Bodhgaya. There, they will receive the Kalachakra teachings and initiations from His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Fall Retreat in Zeeland

Lama Jigme welcomes anyone to participate in the Fall retreat in Zeeland, the Netherlands from 17 – 23 October.        

The retreat consists of two parts:

 Mon 17-Fri 21 explores the development of the heart of universal compassion (bodhicitta)

Fri 21 – Sun 23 The teachings will be based on Śāntideva’s classic Bodhicaryāvatāra, Chapter 2.

A Spontaneous Practice Session!

Greetings! Due to popular dharma demand, Lama Jigmé is adding another public talk on Friday, 25th March, 8pm, at Johnstons Hall in Kinvara, Co. Galway. Lama Jigmé will speak on "Compassion". Everyone is welcome. Donations.

Lama Jigmé returns to the West of Ireland to give us a public talk on "Understanding Uncertainty," Wednesday, 23rd March 8PM at Old Ground Hotel in Ennis, Co. Clare. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Natural Awareness

On Saturday 26th March: Lama Jigmé gives a teaching on "Natural Awareness" at Crann Og, Derrymore, Drummin, Gort, Co. Clare. 10.30-5.30pm. Please Assemble at 10am. Hot vegetarian lunch provided. €40 for the day.
